Comparative Constitutions Project
Professor Ginsburg currently co-directs the Comparative Constitutions Project, along with Zachary Elkins.
The Comparative Constitutions Project is an effort to gather and analyze the constitutions of all independent nation-states, dating back to 1789. The project was launched to investigate questions regarding the origins and consequences of constitutional choices, while also providing resources to those involved in constitutional revision processes. CCP also powers Constitute, a comprehensive online database of the world’s constitutions. Subsets of constitutions are available in Spanish and Arabic.
